Garth completed the University of Stellenbosch’s Management Development Programme prior to taking up a management position at Commercial Union and then CGU. At Mutual and Federal, he attended their management workshops while working as underwriting superintendent, production superintendent, Bellville branch manager and sales manager (national brokers) between 2001 and 2012. Garth holds a Higher Certificate in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of South Africa, an RE1 and is a registered representative at FSB.
