FRONTLINE'S STORY

Paul Myers started Frontline in Durban in 2001. Through tough times, he was able to establish a solid foundation for the organisation, engaging the New National Assurance Company as their Principal, securing valued staff members and contracting a myriad of Brokers to keep his dream alive.

In 2005, James Bonner joined Paul and set up an office in Port Elizabeth. Being a man of much drive and determination, he has been largely responsible for Frontline’s growth and unique focus on the diverse needs of its clients.  It was, after all, the melding of their two very different approaches around a common vision that built Frontline into the successful business it is today.

James and Paul went on to establish Frontline’s presence across South Africa. The following two years were a period of many strange and wonderful experiences for Paul and James: meetings with extraordinary people in unusual places, low-budget and very ‘interesting’ travel and accommodation arrangements – but these efforts paid off.

In 2007, Abie Human joined Frontline and set up a branch in the Western Cape. The East London branch under the capable stewardship of Chris Dallas soon followed, with Johannesburg and the Free State branches being set up not long thereafter.

The journey was – at times – arduous. Frontline fought for recognition in a market saturated with new underwriting managers. In order to make an impact and stand out in the Industry, Frontline has hired only well-qualified and experienced staff.

In harnessing divergent talents to a shared dream, Frontline has assembled a team of truly remarkable, committed people.

The same appreciation of diversity and commitment to their clients, is the basis for their continued success.
